How old does my dog need to be to attend school?
You dog must be at least 12 weeks old and have had three sets of puppy vaccinations (DHLPP). This is for your puppy’s safety. Dogs over the age of four months must have their rabies vaccination. Bordetella is required.
Where will my dog live while in training?
Your dog will live with me in my home with my dogs and cat. Dogs sleep, eat, and rest inside. Dogs are trained inside and outside. Dogs play outside on two acres, fenced for dogs of all sizes.
How long does Dog Boarding School last?
The minimum initial visit is two weeks. Your dog may stay longer on the first visit, if necessary. Your dog may also return for shorter visits, after completing his first two weeks. Many people send their dog to school every time they travel!
Where is School located?
I live just south of Pearland near 288 and county road 58, however, pick up and delivery are included with School.
What will my dog need to bring?
Your dog will need his dog food, his collar or harness, and his vaccination records. You may send a dog bed with your dog. I have crates, toys, treats, chews, everything your dog might need.
How do I register my dog for School?
You must speak with or email the owner, Certified Professional Dog Trainer Tricia Fagan. We will make sure School is the right thing for your dog. You will be sent a registration form. After you fill out the form, you will be asked for a $200 deposit. The deposit is not refundable, but does guarantee your dog’s space in school. The remainder for the first two weeks, $750, is due when your dog begins training.
What is a typical day at DogS Gone Good’s Dog Boarding School?
The day begins about 7:00 a.m. The exact time depends on the dog’s need to pee. 
After the first morning pee, every one has breakfast. About eight o’clock, dogs have morning play time. Depending on the individual dog, and the weather, the dogs play outside with other friendly dogs for thirty minutes to an hour. After all dogs have play time, training begins. Each dog is given the opportunity to eliminate prior to a training session. For young dogs, they are given a chance to urinate after each training session, as well as before. We rotate through all the dogs, and then do it again, and again, and again! Dinner is served about 5:30 p.m. After dinner, each dog recieves another playtime outside with his friends. Everyone gets one last chance to go to the bathroom between ten and eleven p.m.
When can my dog start school?
Your dog may start school as soon as we have space available. Because we are often full, reservations are recommended.
What happens when my dog comes home?
DogS Gone Good will bring your dog back to your home. We will show you, in your home, what your dog has learned. We will teach you what to do to maintain your dog’s good behaviors. We are always available via email or phone for any questions you may have.
How much is Dog Boarding School?
Dog Boarding School is $1,190 per dog for the first two weeks. Each additional week is $595 per dog.
